"The Big Nothing Gets Smaller
The Valerie Plame Affair, the Old Media-generated "scandal" that I have been calling the Big Nothing for some time, got smaller today. Robert Novak, the journalist whose column got the whole thing started has disclosed that Karl Rove was not the "leaker", but a "confirming source". He wasn't even the primary source. That person has not been named, but Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald knows who it is and is not going to prosecute him. Many have speculated that Novak's primary source was Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.
Let's check the scorecard:
Karl Rove - leaked nothing, indicted for nothing, did nothing wrong
George W. Bush - leaked nothing, did nothing wrong
Dick Cheney - leaked nothing, did nothing wrong
Scooter Libby - leaked nothing, indicted for "conflicting testimony" (charges likely to be dropped)
Valerie Plame - not covert, national security not damaged
Joe Wilson - still a big liar and crybaby
Not a very Merry Fitzmas for liberals.
Poor Chris Matthews, he whined at such a rapid pace and high pitch that humans couldn't hear him on Wednesday's "Hardball". How bitter does AP's "objective" Pete Yost sound about Novak's revelations?

Guess Gannon/Guckert didn't get the memo that Valerie Plame filed suit today against Dead Eye Dick Cheney and his cronies.
I am so glad that Gannon/Guckert figured this thing out. I mean, what do we need courts and oversight for when Jeffers can say Dick and Bush 'did nothing wrong'.
And Jeffy, Ms. Plame WAS covert. And how can you say National Security not damaged? She worked on Nuclear Proliferation! What is going on right now in North Korea? Iran? Nuclear Proliferation! The economy: any inbred retarded monkey can tell you that the Goverment is Enron-ing the books to make the stats look good, but the broader picture is that the economy is tanked....Just ask anyone who has to fill up their gas tank.

Iraq: you must be kidding......that place is a hell hole inside of a quagmire.

War on Terror: The CIA shut down the Bin Laden unit in December. Why should they spend time on him when the president doesn't? Wanted Dead or Alive? Well, Bon Jovi can sing it better than Bush.

Leaking National Security Secrets: Um, the NSA spying domestically? or Warrantless searches of bank records, emails? SWIFT (which everyone in the Eastern world knows about anyway cause if you have a bank account you have a SWIFT code...duh. Plus, the President himself just weeks after 9/11 said the terrorists bank accounts were being monitored)...
Plus, unless it is Dick Cheney leaking covert operative cause her husband was RIGHT about WMDs in Iraq...then it is bad thing.

Gay Marriage: who gives a shit.....the only thing that destroys the sanctity of marriage is DIVORCE. There has been NOTHING done at the Federal level about Gay Marriage cause it was just an election day issue. Terrorist Rights: Who says the Gitmo detainees are terrorists?? When you can detain a man based on heresay and not let him defend himself in a manner consistant with law and the Geneva Conventions, then you are subjecting your own people to the same treatment in a foreign country. Would the U.S. put up with a foreign court detaining our soldiers or citizens and putting them thru a Mickey Mouse trial to face the death penalty based on heresay and "I think I saw him do it" testimony? No.The Supreme Court agrees.

Taxes: Good grief. The only thing the Repukes care about is the Estate tax. When the manager at McDonald's gets her panties in a wad about the Estate tax and how Democrats just want to take everyone's money...remind her that the Estate tax only affects those who are leaving their heirs (each one) over 7million dollars. I assume if the manager at McD's was getting 7 mill from mom and dad she wouldn't be the manager at McD's. Then remind your Republican money whores that it was a DEMOCRATIC President who left Bush a surplus which he blew on tax relief Pre-9/11. Remind them that President Clinton balanced the budget and ran the goverment on a "pay as you go" system. Remind them that Bush has fucked it completely up.....

Now, if all that makes you vote Republican this fall, then stay home cause you don't need to be out of the house. You have serious mental problems and probably need to up your dose.

Okay, first thing you must know is that our esteemed Mr. Guckert thinks that he is a journalist. A bitch for Talon News does NOT make you a journalist, nor does being a blogger.
Paul R. Smith:

Cindy Sheehan:

Well, since Ms. Sheehan does not fit into the "traitor" category, and neither does Mr. Smith, I would have to say they are both patriots. Only Ms. Sheehan, she doesn't appreciate the fact her son died for this unsubstantiated war, and had the guts to question President Bush. Now, seems Ms. Sheehan was right. This is an unsubstantiated war. Mr. Bush is overstepping his authority more than once and is abusing his powers as the POTUS.
Gannon/ Guckert seems to postulate that Ms. Sheehan's sacrifice for her country measures far less than Mr. Smith's . I think Ms. Sheehan, would argue that.
Lately, it seems that if you are Pro-Peace and against this Administration's war-for-nothing, you are a traitor to your country. Isn't it more patriotic to love your country so much that you would want it's leaders to be honest and proud men/women? Isn't it more patriotic to support your troops that are in harm's way by wanting them to come home from these numerous tours of duty? Isn't it patriotic to hold your country's leadership accountable for their actions that call into question their motives? Isn't it patriotic to uphold The Constitution of the United States instead of ripping it apart to fit into a Right-winged Agenda? I find these people who don't question the POTUS and aren't absolutely outraged by this administration's lawlessness, and blatant disregard for the TRUTH.... those people are ignorant, stupid, and in-the-way of their nations progress.
If you can't see past the W-04 sticker on the back of your Lexus and recognize that this country is under the leadership of the most corrupt and inept administration in history...then drive it into a river with your seat belt firmly attached. You aren't needed and frankly you are mucking up the works.
Republicans are more loyal to their PARTY than they are their COUNTRY. Traitors? No...not yet....but fanatical, blind, clueless, dumbasses...YES.
